Our March women’s gathering took us to Solid Rock Ranch for a full day of connection, healing, and learning — surrounded by nature and grounded in intention.
We began the day with a short hike through the woods that led us to a peaceful waterfall. There, we were guided into stillness with a sound healing session led by Levi, who played native flutes. The music was calming and carried so much emotion. He shared a bit about the flutes and their cultural roots, helping us connect even more deeply with the experience. While we were gathered at the water, a small toad joined us — a quiet, unexpected guest that added to the magic of the moment.
After that, we set up for Reiki — which is the heart of our monthly gatherings. Each woman had space to both give and receive. Sharing this energy work together, outdoors in such a peaceful setting, created a deep sense of presence and connection.
Later in the afternoon, we met again with Levi by the horse pasture. He offered a session on horse connection from a Native American holistic perspective. We learned that horses were called “holy dogs,” and we talked about the symbolism of the medicine wheel and its colors. The fact that the horse area was also a circle gave extra meaning to the space. It was powerful to see how much the horses responded to our energy and how we can take the lessons learned and apply them to our own lives.
This day was a beautiful reminder of how grounding it is to come together in nature, to slow down, and to be held — by the land, by each other, and by the practices that keep us connected.
Thank you to Levi and his family at Solid Rock Ranch for hosting us & thanks to Andrea of LilOhmCreations for these photos from the day.
